No.  But this is one of the reasons I still use Deja to read/write to the alt groups.  Even if someone were to start spamming me, it doesn’t effect my main mail address. Typically, however, the biggest problem are users who will scan the newsgroups for addresses to spam.  All it takes is one post to get on the sucker list.  Why people think that the religious groups are the ideal location to get addresses for the promotion of X-Rated web pages is beyond me. — Peace & Good! Dear Alan: Please be advised that the repeded transmission of emails which are not wanted by the receiver is a gross violation of most if not all standard service privoder’s TOS and in many cases repeded offenses can cause said service provider to terminate your contract because they don’t want to deal with the complaints they are getting about your TOS violation. It is also a gross violation of all uunet and mail systems protocols and standard. it is also simply gross, rude, obnoxious, and just wrong. Sorry Alan, but if someone doesn’t want to read your message, there is nothing you can do about it.  Hopefully, we will one day do to email what they are about to do in New York to Telephone Calls, and what they currently do in New York with annoyance calls. — Peace & Good!
