txheat#2(Mary, Mary, Mary)

Question:

Hey, Carlos, was that Texas heat too much for you?

Now, let’s return to the subject of Mary. Mary was human. She was blessed in that she was allowed the privilege of bringing Jesus into the world. Mary was a maid in Israel and a devout worshiper of God. The Bible has nothing negative to say about Mary.

She’s also full of grace.  Where have you been? Mary was not there when Jesus created the world, and she had nothing to do with His being God. She added nothing to His Godhead.

Excuse me, you took that something too literally.  Jesus did not create the world, God did.  It’s a Trinity thing, did you understand it yet? If you believe what the Catholic Church teaches, you believe that Mary makes intercession for us in Heaven. You believe that we have Jesus in heaven, unmerciful and Mary is interceding for us. [. . . .] Mary is capable of doing miracles and that she is able to appear to us.

Whoever said He wasn’t merciful?  Sige, you can tell us.  Now, Mary is Mediatrix of Graces. . . meaning what ever graces Jesus wants to bring to people go through her.  That’s how miracles are done.  She is basically God’s instrument in bringing the world back to Him. None of the above teachings are found in the Bible, just like confession, purgatory, excommunication and sacraments. All of these are tools used by the Catholic Church to control the people. Let’s face it, if you control a person, you also control his pocket, (money).

I know of more protestors who take people’s money and run.  For example, who was that Baptist guy that was taken into court not too long ago for laundering money and stuff. . . he allegedly had an affair with someone and his own marriage was on the rocks. If you want to talk about control, how come we don’t lock people up in a compound and tell them they’re not to leave the premises or have any outside contact? The Lord Jesus Christ through his word in the AV 1611 King James Bible is like an anchor, it will plant you on solid ground and no matter what you will be firm in your convictions.

A nice change from the usual bola.  Which Bible is better?  Whoever said one was better than another?  Did you know that there were Bibles before KJV?  It would never have existed without its predecessors.  And even now, we have newer versions, because not many of us can understand Old English. And keep in mind not all Christians speak English.  Are you going to say that the German, French, *Spanish*, Italian, Polish, and Tagalog versions of the Bible are inferior because they’re not KJV?  That’s weird, a Tagalog version of the KJV Bible.  A strange concept indeed. So let’s put our eyes on the Lord, and his word and see what the Holy Bible says about those things.

We’ll see Mary before we see Him for sure.  We’ll ask her what He says when she comes around again. God will never say anything that is contrary to the Bible, why? Because the Bible says that God is not the author of confusion, (1 Corinthians

14:31). Tell me why the Bible contradicts itself in several places.  It’s not because God wrote the whole Bible, PEOPLE were inspired to write about Him. The Catholic Church has validated several appearances of Mary. We have reported appearances in Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico and almost every Hispanic

country. There are at least three sightings in the Philippines.  Unlike Latin America, such sightings get very negative press (the Church itself had problems with the ones in Lipa), not to mention the fact that opportunists come in like vultures to exploit people simply because they’re believers. This people venerate the statute of Mary like she is God. They built monuments in her name and bow down to her.

It’s called honor, not worship.  I already provided a link for you describe the difference between the two: Not every entity that claims to be Mary is Mary. If an entity asks you to do something contrary to the Bible, that entity is not the Mary of the Bible. The truth of the matter is that in our time of history, God does not send us departed spirits or even angels, to teach us His truth. The word of God is the test of truth and is complete.

Well, duh!  Why do you think the Church even bothers to verify these claims? And don’t even waste time telling us what God does or doesn’t do.  You can control Him, nor can you change Him.  The Word of God is not confined to the printed words of the Bible.  If you hear Him command you to do something, that is also the Word of God. There is no scripture to substantiate the fact that Mary ascended to Heaven. The truth is that Mary died, she was buried like any other human and her body became worm food. The Bible tells us that Enoch was rapture, the Bible says that the Lord ascended to Heaven, do you think that God would omit such an event? Not likely.

Prove that she died.  Using Scripture only. Now listen up.  It’s a fact that no remains of Mary can be found anywhere; if it were true, we all would have known about it for centuries and you would be complaining about people want her bones because of they like to have relics of saints. Here’s my guess – and only that, so don’t go saying it ain’t in Scripture in therefore not valid – as to why we won’t see any.  See, because people think miraculous things happen when they hold relics, they spend time on quests for them.  But do you know how many people would be fighting over stuff like Mary’s bones, strands of hair, etc. once they knew how significant a person she was?  So, God knows this, and makes all that vanish *before* anyone else thinks about it.  Hey, he did the same thing with Moses, too.  The idea was to get people’s attention away from the idea that people’s body parts bring about miracles. Last I would like to give you the plan of salvation. It is simple and free. It will not cost you anything and it is guarantee to get you to heaven

when you [snip] We just had a discussion on Sola Fide here recently, Carlos.  Tons of verses which overwhelmingly refute your position.  Just because you believe and confess His name does not guarantee a thing. Faith without works is dead. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God Do you see that word, "all", that means all, (the pope, Mary, your

priest). I already explained on another thread what the "all" meant.  So did a couple of others after me.  It’s never meant to be taken literally. You must realize that the penalty for sin is death, (this is a spiritual death) Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Let’s try this one. 1 John 5:16  If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 1 John 5:17  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. If you want to talk about spiritual death, here’s the ultimate one. There are certain types of sin which does NOT result in (spiritual) death, and there are other types which do. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin [. . . .] Yes, you can be saved from your sins right now. You can have 100% assurance that if you die right now you will be heaven bound. No priest, no pope, no Mary, just you and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sounds like a get rich quick scheme.  No, I’ll pass.  Like I said before, faith without works is dead. Friend, if you notice Romans 10:9-10 does not make reference to church, or religion, or Mary. It is a personal relation with the Lord Jesus Christ. Why don’t you pray the following prayer from your heart. Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and I want Him to be my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me.

Did you get this from Mr. Robertson?

The truth about Mary

<<<<SNIPPED -BIGTIME If she hadn’t said ‘yes’ there would be no Jesus – and therefore no NT book about him for you to use against anyone. This would be very frustrating for you, Carlos. Think about it …not just any woman could bear the Son of God….it took a very special little lady to do it.  One whom Jesus prepared himself—– for himself. And we already have Jesus as our Lord and Savior — but we ALSO have HIM, body-blood-soul-divinty within us at reception of the Holy Eucharist throughout our life….because we believe what He said.  He said, "This IS my body; this IS my blood." He did not say it might be – or it might become— He you are getting tired, Carlos — you have the same arguments as everyone else over and over- and they are getting tired too…and tiresome. You’ve tried hard – but what the RCC can offer is so vastly greater than what you have to offer. As I said, we already have Jesus as our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit who both came to each of us at Baptism — then, Jesus adds to that for us, the RCC — the new Jerusalem—  throughout each of our lives- to keep us strong in Him–to rebuild us in His image of love — to prepare us for heaven.  All this is offered to you  too;  you could have it all too, you know.  You don’t have to sit back and ‘wish’ secretly and hit on us and Our Blessed Mother (and yours too) in jealous attacks…..if you love Jesus, and what He has to say to you, He plainly states that His mother is our mother now — for those who love, trust and obey Him.  The question is then—- Do you love Him or don’t you? You can’t just take part of Jesus — you have to take everything He has to offer, which He includes His mother.  P.

SInce the Mary you describe is neither the Mary of the Bible or the Mary of the Church what does that make you?  Anti-biblical and Anti-Church.  Get with the BIBLE!!!! – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – The truth about Mary         The Catholic Church has taken upon them to be the final authority in matters that deal with God, and has made a deity out of Mary. If you study your own Church history, this happened during the Council of Trent when the Catholic Church agreed that the Bible was to be considered the Word of God, within the traditions of the Church. And I say this because if the Catholic Church would believe that the Bible is the Word of God, they would not bow down to a statute of Mary.  But if you read the scriptures we find that the Mary described by the Catholic Institution in no way the Mary of the Bible. If you are a good Roman Catholic, your church requires that you trust her with no questioning when it comes to matters dealing with the church. Let’s face it you have been conditioned to believe anything and everything without questioning. Cannon laws and indoctrination are your primary source of information. The Bible has taken the back seat. God doesn’t wants us to be ignorant of this word. The Bible says: II Timothy 2:15 " Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Now, let’s return to the subject of Mary. Mary was human. She was blessed in that she was allowed the privilege of bringing Jesus into the world. Mary was a maid in Israel and a devout worshiper of God. The Bible has nothing negative to say about Mary. Mary was not there when Jesus created the world, and she had nothing to do with His being God. She added nothing to His Godhead. Philippians 2:5 " Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6: Who, being in the for of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. If you believe what the Catholic Church teaches, you believe that Mary makes intercession for us in Heaven. You believe that we have Jesus in heaven, unmerciful and Mary is interceding for us. The Catholic Church also believes that Mary never died, and like Jesus, she ascended to heaven. They believe that Mary is capable of doing miracles and that she is able to appear to us. None of the above teachings are found in the Bible, just like confession, purgatory, excommunication and sacraments. All of these are tools used by the Catholic Church to control the people. They built monuments in her name and bow down to her. The Bible says: 1 John 4:1 " Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: Because many false prophets are gone out into the world". Not every entity that claims to be Mary is Mary. If an entity asks you to do something contrary to the Bible, that entity is not the Mary of the Bible. The truth of the matter is that in our time of history, God does not send us departed spirits or even angels, to teach us His truth. The word of God is the test of truth and is complete. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9: As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Not likely. Last I would like to give you the plan of salvation. It is simple and free. It will not cost you anything and it is guarantee to get you to heaven when you die. No guesswork is involved here or priest. The Ten Commandments will not get you to Heaven, neither following the golden rule. You can be the best person in the world with the best intention and still go to Hell. As a matter of fact, the road to Hell is paved with people that had good intentions. That is because they want to get where God is, their way, and not God’s way. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Now, how can a person be saved? It is not by church membership, or works, or sacrifices or by ceremonies. The first thing that you must realize is that you are a sinner before God Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God Do you see that word, "all", that means all, (the pope, Mary, your priest). The Lord Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us You must repent and receive Christ as your personal saviour. Romans 2:4 or despises thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance John 1:12 But as many has received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name Yes, you can be saved from your sins right now. You can have 100% assurance that if you die right now you will be heaven bound. No priest, no pope, no Mary, just you and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Friend, if you notice Romans 10:9-10 does not make reference to church, or religion, or Mary. Carlos D.Paniagua
