Question:
doctrine of inherited sin explicitly. Which is it? Sin inherited or not? Why? — Lutheran minister and German war veteran Martin Niemoller: "First they came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by then there was no one left to speak up for me."
Response:
I love that question about the inherited sin and years ago I asked a Lutheran priest about how we could inherit sin (I myself is still a Catholic) . The priest gave me a very good explanation and I thanked him very much but had to admit that I still did not understand how we could inherit sin. So which is it? The only answer I can come up with is that as we are not perfect (who is) we have the ability to "sin". If you believe in reincarnation as most people do (not my church – at least not openly) the question about the "inherited sin" makes sense, but I do not imagine that will answer your question! And by the way – if they come for you – I will be there and speak up in the name of humanity. Have a good one and don`t drown in the answers of your question. – Alexandra

What did he say? So which is it? The only answer I can come up with is that as we are not perfect (who is) we have the ability to "sin". Yes it does make sense from that perspective..I’m an athiest myself…….but value the golden rule and thus religion in general (its just the one which rules the USA. Of course I’ll burn in hell anyway..sense I do good works yet don’t see evidence for the existance of God. (or so say many "christians"). IF there is a God he will show mercy and I will not be in Hell forever. If not, then Satan is God. And by the way – if they come for you – I will be there and speak up in the name of humanity.
are running this place, I may need your help ;-/. Have a good one and don`t drown in the answers of your question. – Alexandra

Hello, I am not aware of any scripture in Ezekiel dying inherited "sin". (imperfection) The Bible clearly states that imperfection (sin) comes to us at birth. For example Job 14:4, "Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one!" (NIV) Also Ro 5:12, "Therefore, just as through one person sin entered the world, and through sin, death, and thus death came to all, inasmuch as all sinned–" (NAB) Now it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that all humans make mistakes and are imperfect (sinful) So yes, the Bible shows the truth that all humans have inherited sin from Adam. Sincerely, James (remove "nono" for email return)
