Note that the bible, by and large, does not talk about itself. It does not define its mass and span. It is scary to one seeking God. Jeremiah 8:8 creeps into mind which essentially abrogates the pentauch and the wise of the jews as petty and liars. What are you left with? It seems castles in the sand.
Exactly, the Bible does not say what is in the Bible. That is why the Protestants have such a problem. Without the Catholic Church, you have no New Testament. Protestants deny the fact that the Catholic Church has the infallibility of the Pope teaching authority of the Bishops and Pope Oral Tradition that is also inspired But accept that we were right on the Bible, which is what they base their religion solely on. And then, they refute 7 of the books from the Old Testament. Protestants don’t know what the Bible is. They claim they do, but have no support whatsoever for it. Proud to be a Catholic! God Bless Everyone! Ray
