Because this is a celebration for all Chrsitianity, not just for Episcopalians. Your church is going to split from the Anglican Communion as a result of this action, so it’s really rather sad.

Daniel I have pleny of friends that are Roman Catholic. The Episcopal Church *is* pro-choice. I am not pro-choice, neither are most Roman Catholics that I know. Actually the majority of Christians are pro-life. The Episcopal Church came out with an idiotic resolution on slavery reparations at GC 2003.. The list goes on-and-on as far as the left-wing, secularist agenda that has creeped into the ECUSA and will most certainly consign that organization to the ash heap of history.
