Hey! Can we play CD’s backwards on these computers?Never know. I knew a guy who wrote a progam to do exactly that. Unfortuneately, to do it right since CD’s are a forward-only media, you need to copy the track into memory, then start at the end playing it as a wave file with a decrement instead of an increment.
Or for an even easier method, any music software with hard disk recording/editing capability (eg ProTools or Steinberg Cubase VST) can record the item, reverse it with a click of a mouse, and play it back in pristine condition. None of which gets done around here, however … since a) my ancient Mac Performa 630 isn’t fast or powerful enough to run that stuff, and b) yours truly is an analog-recording loyalist anyway! :) pokoj s tebou deezer Derek M. The reference to Jesus’ brethren were to his remoter relatives, e.g. cousins, not to siblings. Just possibly they were references to Joseph’s children by an earlier marriage. Then what "Church" is "his" Church? Remember it must meet the prime directive, the gates of Hell must not prevail. If they prevail, then it isn’t the Church Christ founded. You have to start at the beginning, go through the middle and then arrive at the end. And when you do that you will find the CATHOLIC CHURCH. The term "Catholic" or "Universal" was applied to the Church in the early years of the second century, just after the death of the last Apostle, by those men who were personally taught by the Apostles. Centuries later, members of the same church would in solemn session define what would be known as the four marks of the Church: ONE HOLY CATHOLIC APOSTOLIC Some people would argue that the Church "erred" in the second century and disappeared until the 19th century. (CB and his Church of Christ ilk.) But that is a direct violation of the prime directive that the gates of Hell will NOT prevail. Some people would argue that the Church "erred" in the eleventh century, but the same argument applies. And some people would argue that the Church "erred" in the seventeenth century as well. My husband was raised Presbyterian. I was AMAZED at all the misconceptions that he had about the Catholic church, many of which are illustrated in the above conversation. I do not plan to re-convert to the Catholic denomination. However, I share the same Christian faith, and we all share the same baptism (Steve Winter, don’t bother commenting on that…). Once again, prove it. The brothers of Christ were not blood brothers as you imply, they were relatives. Why does the Scripture not say "half-brothers"? Surely the Holy Spirit didn’t impregnate Mary again, after Jesus’ birth. A good religion never seperates "Caesar" from God. Who made Caesar?
What do you call a "good" (and therefore a "bad") religion? Since we live in a sinful world (of which I am the chief – not of the world, but of the sin), no one is "pure" enough to be both a priest and a king. That’s why the Church consecrates/-ed the Emperors and Kings on one side, the Bishops on the other one. That’s also why the Orthodox Church does not recognize the monarchic authority of the Pope of Rome upon the whole Church. VG
