Rosary Guide Part 2

Question:

Hi Sorry, I’m prempting this guide for a little word about – What the Rosary is exactly. The Rosary is a tool for prayer.  Most people don’t realize that the rosary is used as a tool only and many people say the Rosary without using one. With 59 Beads, Medal and Crucifix its obvious how many prayers will be said. (I’ve made Rosaries for people) Rosaries are usually blessed by a priest and are apart of a tradition going way back. The prayers are not said repeatedly as noted by others.  They are meant as a sign of reflection, a spiritual awakening and a chance to pray. Chilandra Next Part: The Original Part 2 Subject

Sheen acknowledged: Prayer beads . . . were probably first used by the Buddhists. Both Buddhists and Moslems make use of them in their prayers. None of the apostles of Jesus Christ nor their fellow believers in the first century used a rosary. Also, the rosary gives the main importance to Mary since most of the prayers are directed to her. How did Jesus view such dedication to Mary? Notice Lu 11:27,28,  …Blest is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you! 28 …
