As much as I applaud your civility in trying to save our mortal souls (my mother always said I was going to hell in a handbasket), I have to disagree with you. First of all, I do not believe our goddesses are being "punished". Second of all, being raised in a Roman Cathiloc family, I find it much worse to raise the spirit of a 2000 year old Son of God to eat his flesh and drink his blood (I don’t know about other Christian faiths, but in Catholicism it is believed that the bread and body actually become the body and blood of Jesus Christ). I for one would choose speaking with and old spirit than cannibalism.

I just got ahold of the newest Hellblazer trade paperback, which I mention because there’s a story in there that makes this exact point. John Constantine (the main character, for those of you who’ve never read Hellblazer) winds up talking to the devil in a church somewhere in London. (The devil, by the way, is dressed right out of the 70s in this particular story, which seems somehow fitting.) He describes the incipient Second Coming ™ in the form of a young black man from South Central who begins a new wave of civil rights reform in the U.S. Of course, as before, the message is unappreciated and misunderstood until after the guy gets martyred. why, thank you wolf! I try to be civil as much as possible. I just think most christians will be very surprised when their god doesn’t show up or does and says to them "hey guys, thats not what I meant!" Almost every religion speaks of an end time. I just don’t happen to think its going to be the way that so many christians think. But my opinion on that could take up a lot of space and time and I am not going to go there now. smooches

Well… "Brother David"… I do love the fellowship… I love the fellowship of every Pagan Gathering I attend… which… I will take the chance to boast… we had a gathering here in the South… that was well over 2300 strong… and will all these pagans of all different backgrounds. (i.e. Wiccans, Druids, Native American, Norse…. etc.) There wasn’t one fight that broke out… wasn’t a single incident… Now… let me stick 2300 + Christians, Baptists, Catholics, and Muslims together…. There is no way you can be talking about the goddess we all know and love (well maybe on a bad day). My goddess in her forms represents birth,life and death, the cycle of existance.
